VIGAN BURNAY
As Vigan is known for its historic ancestral houses that illustrate a fusion of architecture from Spanish colonial time with Asian influences, the people of Vigan also exert great effort to preserve the tradition of making “burnay”. Burn ay is unglazed earthen jars, an industry that dates back to pre-colonial times when immigrants from China came and settled in Vigan. Burnay jars have small openings, and its earlier use
were for tea drinking, storage for water, rice grains and as container for salt, brown sugar, local wine (basi) and bagoong (fermented fish).

HIDDEN GARDEN VIGAN CITY
The Hidden Garden is a relatively recent addition to Vigan's tourist attractions, but it has quickly become popular for its lush flora, soothing ambiance, and local charm. What started as a personal garden by Francis Flores, a retired professor and plant enthusiast, has transformed into a sprawling space featuring a variety of indigenous plants and flowers, antique decorations, and traditional Vigan pottery.
CALLE CRISOLOGO
Calle Crisologo is truly worth visiting both day and night, with each period offering a unique charm. During the day, you'll enjoy browsing through the numerous antique souvenir shops and small museums like the Father Burgos Museum and the Crisologo Museum. These are housed within the Spanish heritage buildings lining the car-free street. Take a ride in a Spanish-style horse carriage called a 'kalesa' for a delightful tour of Vigan's rich cultural heritage.
