It’s More Fun   s a Pamayana n : Fiesta Fun Lungsod ng Vigan The Heritage City of Vigan became even more alive during the celebration of the Fiesta of the Conversion of St. Paul. As a traveler, I immediately felt the festive atmosphere as the streets were filled with music, colors, and smiling faces. Quarter 3 Reflection

Image
Q3 REFLECTION- One More Quarter Until This Chapter Closes During the third quarter, I gained many new learnings and discoveries that helped me grow both academically and creatively. One of my biggest learnings was experiencing real photoshoots as a photojournalist. Through this, I learned how to properly frame shots, capture meaningful moments, and tell a story through photos. I also improved my editing skills, especially in adjusting lighting, colors, and composition. In addition, I learned basic HTML tags, which helped me understand how web pages are structured and how simple codes can create content online. Despite these achievements, I encountered several challenges along the way. One major problem I faced was time management. Balancing schoolwork, photoshoots as a photojournalist , editing tasks, and learning HTML was difficult, especially when deadlines overlapped. There were moments when I felt rushed and pressured, which affected my focus and productivity. Managing my time prop...

The National Bayani Of The Philippines

Image
Jose Rizal    is widely recognized as the face of the Philippines because his ideas, writings, and sacrifices awakened the Filipino spirit during the Spanish colonial period. Rather than leading an armed revolution, Rizal chose the power of education, reason, and peaceful reform to fight injustice. His life showed that loving one’s country means standing for truth, dignity, and national identity. Rizal’s greatest contribution to Philippine society was his use of literature as a weapon against oppression. Through his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, he exposed the abuses of Spanish friars and officials, revealing the suffering of Filipinos under colonial rule. These works opened the eyes of many Filipinos, inspiring them to question injustice and seek social reforms. Beyond his writings, Rizal embodied the importance of education and moral courage. He believed that an enlightened society could achieve freedom without violence. As a doctor, sch...

National Children’s Month theme OSAEC-CSAEM

Image
👶☺ This year’s National Children’s Month theme,   “ OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban! ” , highlights a growing and urgent issue in our digital world the rising cases of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children. The message is powerful and timely. As young people spend more time online for learning, entertainment, and communication, they also become more vulnerable to hidden dangers on the internet. The theme reminds us that protecting children is not just a responsibility of families but of schools, communities, and the government working together. Over the years, the Philippine government has strengthened its efforts to defend children’s rights and dignity. Laws such as the Anti-OSAEC Act, Anti-Child Pornography Act, and the expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act show the seriousness of the government in fighting exploitation. Agencies like the DSWD, PNP Women and Children Protection Center, and the Inter-Agency Council Against Traff...
